Fonte da Telha is a place on the beach on the Portuguese coast on the south bank of the Tagus, shared by the municipalities of Almada and Sesimbra and the municipalities of Costa de Caparica and Castelo. It is a small fishing village without its own port. Here the small boats are pushed into the sea with tractors, and these tractors are also used to catch the sardines with trawls. In addition to fishing, Fonte da Telha is a summer resort with guarded beaches, restaurants, bars and a diving center. A traditional holiday destination.
